i hate it that the president spoke about so many things in her sona using the english language. she didnt realize that it's supposed to address the nation - as a whole, which she should remember,the bigger of chunk is low beyond poverty line. and she was talking there for almost two hours. many of the common people stopped their lives for a while, go to the nearest place with television and watched her speak of the nation's now and tomorrow. and what did they get? some foreign sound. perhaps the only thing they understood is the 152 applauses of the room, with which maybe their hearts were somehow lifted, because that would mean good news, and somehow, maybe they wished that they are part of the good reasons why people were applausing (w/c i think is so lame, pathetic and deceitful. my goodness, i wonder how long her staff took it to bribe so much to do those scripted applauses. may choreo pa.)

maybe, the only good thing with that, is that less people will hope of whatever the lady in a glamorous red filipinana talked about awhile ago. less will believe and less will be dependent on the shinny shimmering things they've heard. and the others, will just go back to their ways and try to make better what they do, because they know they have to.
